1. Purpose and Scope

The website shop.h2lab.org is operated by H2Lab, a non-profit association (RNA: W923010387 – SIREN: 884 554 668).
These Terms of Use define the rights and obligations applicable to any order placed through this website.
By placing an order, you unreservedly accept these Terms of Use.

2. Nature of the Equipment Sold

The equipment offered for sale is strictly intended for:

  • educational use,

  • research and development use,

  • and/or experimental use within a legal framework.

They are not finished products designed for commercial or industrial use, nor are they certified devices for medical, military, or production purposes.

3. User Responsibility

  • The user is solely responsible for the use of the equipment once delivered.

  • Any use not in line with their educational and research purpose is the exclusive responsibility of the purchaser.

  • H2Lab disclaims all liability in the event of:

    • illegal or fraudulent use,

    • material or immaterial damages caused by the use of the products,

    • failure to comply with local or international laws and regulations.

4. Importation, Customs, and Regulatory Compliance

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify, before ordering, that the import, possession, and use of the offered products are authorized under the regulations of their country.

  • H2Lab cannot be held liable for customs clearance issues, seizure, fines, or legal actions related to the importation or use of the products.

  • In the case of DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) delivery, H2Lab appoints DHL Express to handle the payment of duties and customs clearance fees. In the case of other incoterms (DAP/DDU), the buyer remains solely responsible for the payment of duties and taxes.

5. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

  • The equipment is provided “as is”, without any express or implied warranty of any kind, except those required by applicable law.

  • No warranty of fitness for a particular purpose (commercial, industrial, medical, military, or otherwise) is provided.

  • H2Lab does not provide individual technical support. The purchaser may rely on assistance available from the open-source community, where applicable.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • H2Lab, its members, and contributors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the products sold.

  • This limitation of liability applies even if H2Lab has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By ordering from shop.h2lab.org, the buyer acknowledges having read and fully accepted these Terms of Use.
If the user does not agree, they must refrain from using or placing orders on the site.
